Cancer seems to be one of the major health issues in the US. Though the Government has taken many initiatives to prevent cancer, deaths due to cancer are increasing everyday. Out of all the cancers, Breast cancer seems to be a very dreadful one. There are few myths associated with this cancer. People think that if there is a lump in the breast then its cancer but its not so. Only if it is persistent one has to worry. Another Myth is that men do not get breast cancer. But the truth is 1700 will be diagnosed with this and nearly 4540 die. Though the percentage is small, men should also be cautious about it.

Eating disorders are very common in America that most of the children and the Teens are affected by it. Almost 60% of the teens are affected either by anorexia or bulimia. Anorexic, though they may look very thin has the fear of weight gain and they do not eat whereas the bulimic eat too much and then purge in order to reduce weight. Apart from these two there are also various other eating disorders like food phobias and body image disorders. People with eating disorders face serious disturbances in their pattern of eating and become very much concerned about their body shape or weight.
